Quick Guide: The TrueSim Platform
In this support document we show you how to start your first training session.
Installation
You can use the Meta Quest 3 to train with TrueSim, and we'll be adding support for other devices in the future. The TrueSim XR app is available in the Meta Horizon Store. Once it's installed, open the app and you'll be asked for an activation code, which you'll find in the TrueSim LMS.
Log in to the TrueSim LMS with your administrator credentials (provided with your TrueSim licence). Any activation codes still available will appear on your TrueSim LMS dashboard. Use one of them to activate the app, and TrueSim is ready to go.
Your TrueSim account
As mentioned above, you log in to the TrueSim LMS with your personal TrueSim account. Use your organization email address for this, not your personal one. You'll receive a one-time password at that address, which logs you in to our LMS.
Your TrueSim LMS-dashboard shows your progress. It also has a training session code ready for you to start your next TrueSim XR training session.
Starting a training session
When you open the TrueSim XR app on your Quest 3, you'll be asked for a training session code. This is the code you'll find on your own TrueSim LMS-dashboard. Enter it in the TrueSim XR app and you can get started with your next training session right away.
Reviewing your results
The TrueSim LMS gives you a clear overview of all the results you've achieved. This makes it easy to look back and see where you might want to focus a little extra attention in your next training session.
