From 17 to 19 June, the Centre de Congrès de Lyon hosts SESAM 2026, the annual meeting of the Society for Simulation in Europe. It brings together more than a thousand educators, researchers, and clinicians from across the continent. TrueSim will be there.

For us, this is a meaningful step. TrueSim is currently used in more than 25 healthcare institutions across the Netherlands and Belgium. SESAM is where the conversation with the wider European field begins.

This year's conference centres on a theme we care about: preparing healthcare professionals for inclusive, culturally responsive care. That principle sits at the heart of what we've built into TrueSim 2.0.

What we're presenting in Lyon

TrueSim 2.0 is a new generation of Mixed Reality simulation training for acute care, built around the ABCDE method and SBARR communication. Three elements make it relevant for a European audience:

More realistic, more diverse patients. Trainees practise on patients who reflect the people they actually treat in clinical practice. That contributes directly to safer care.

A modular structure. The platform adapts to the context, whether the focus is on nursing students, residents, or full clinical teams.

A growing scenario library. Training content stays current without programmes having to start over.

Who we'd like to meet
